PROSTEP would like to announce to the OSLC community, that there is an OpenPDM OSLC Adapter which enables PLM systems to connect to the OSLC world. It offers OSLC standard services, especially for those PLM systems which don’t offer native ones. The adapter is an add-on for the OpenPDM integration framework which provides connectors to a wide range of systems, e.g.:
A little correction: Teamcenter does have a new native OSLC connector. Its name is “Teamcenter OSLC Services”. It exposes Teamcenter items as CM, AM, RM and QM artifacts. It is fully configuration aware, exposes a TRS feed for linked items that can be consumed by LQE and LDX. Traceability between DOORS Next, ETM and RMM and Teamcenter items is fully configuration aware.
Which OSLC domain represents a PLM part in your connector and can a PLM part revision be added into a global configuration?
When you say “configuration aware”, does it mean the OSLC server in Teamcenter presents the correct metadata for Jazz to link to/from Teamcenter artifacts while Jazz is in the GCM (global configuration management) mode or does it fully participate in GCM including creating OSLC Baselines when Streams are snapshotted?
