Learn and develop from scratch OSLC based integration of Cameo/MagicDraw and Polarion or Codebeamer

Hello All,

I observed that many service providers has developed OSLC based integration of Cameo/MagicDraw and Polarion or Codebeamer. I observed that those solutions are quite good.

But my aim is to start learning how we can integrate 2 tools using OSLC.

I am expecting step by step guideline or quick tutorial based information to try basic integration between Cameo/MagicDraw and Polarion or Codebeamer.

Request you to share detail information about where to start, what to go through and how to achieve this kind of integration between Cameo/MagicDraw and Polarion or Codebeamer.

FYI…I have an access to Cameo tool with Teamwork Cloud and also Polarion and Codebeamer.

If anyone can guide specific info on above tools then it would be nice else for learning purpose other tools integration will also be fine to me.

Polarion and CodeBeamer come natively with OSLC support. So you don’t need to develop anything to integrate them using OSLC. I suggest you go through the vendor-provided instructions to work out the specific details.
I am not sure about Cameo/MagicDraw, but may very well provide such support. Did you check?

Now, if you need to develop an OSLC server/client from scratch, I can suggest using LyoDesigner and these instructions. The figures are outdated, but the core instructions are still valid.

In general, the OSLC Developer Guide has a lot of other resources and implementations you can make use of.
